Little introduction

Unlike many other fans of bull terriers, I had never seen either Baxter (french movie where the main character is a bull terrier) Baa, Baa, Black Sheep or anything else before meeting my first bull terrier.

I was 20 years old and it was during an outdoor motocross show that I had my first encounter. A man had this strange dog that despite the noise and dust did not move. He was impassive, and the head had this most unusual shape!
I spent a few minutes contemplating but I was too shy to approach.

From that point, I began to gradually look for information, I had just started my studies, having a dog was not on the agenda just yet.

7 years later, once settled, I bought a few books. I looked at other breeds as well, and then I really snapped on the bulls nature, funny, stubborn and affectionate, that was the dog I needed. I went to the nearest regional show, and there, it was like a dream, bull terriers everywhere!

I was lucky, a few days after contacting Stéphane at Thud and Cuddles kennel, he wrote to tell me that a small red bitch was born! I waited for 3 days to get pics and then, big disappointment, I didn't like at all its asymmetrical marking. It only took one hour for me to realize that I would love her anyway. And with such parents, I thought she could only be beautiful!

I first met Stéphane at a show near me. I found it rather curious that these dogs were going round in circles in a ring. And then I got caught up in th e game at a regional show organized by Stéphane. I wanted to show him how well she had grown. I followed by 2-3 shows in my area, and the results helping, I went to the National shows held in Nantes and Tours. From there it became a real pleasure, meeting other fans from all parts of France, organizing weekends completely devoted to dogs.

Thanks to all the hardwork of Zelda's wonderful results, especially coming from English judges, without which I would probably not be where I am now, travelling to England for a beautiful mating.

Zelda is now 7 years old, but for me it is just the beginning of a great adventure that I hope will last a very long time.
